Susie Hamilton lives in a village near our Previous stores, working from a small studio looking out onto the garden. Her work has featured in Country Living and BBC Homes & Antiques. She celebrates the beauty of nature through the use of cheerful and uplifting colours and interesting patterns and form, using mainly gouache acrylic paints and inks because they produce the brightest and most vivid pieces of art. Susie also enjoys history and antiques, so has incorporated some vintage china into her latest works, including Staffordshire Transferware and Sunderland Lustreware.
