Niwaki Winter Gardening Gloves - Medium
Rubber-coated gardening gloves lined with fleece, ideal for cold weather chores around the garden. These will keep your hands warm and dry and give you a good grip for tool work. Plus, the bright blue colour will show up well among the foliage if you misplace them. Made from polyester, acrylic and latex.
warm, grippy & practical
The polyester and acrylic lining provides warmth and insulation, while the latex coating helps keep the working areas of your hands dry and gives plenty of grip in cold or damp conditions.
These are ideal everyday winter gardening gloves rather than heavy-duty protective gloves. The waterproof coating is not thornproof, so use more substantial protection when tackling roses, brambles or other particularly thorny plants.
Finding your glove size:
Measure around your dominant hand, just below the knuckles (excluding the thumb). The measurement in inches equates to your glove size. Round up to the nearest half inch to allow plenty of room. We recommend moving up a size if you’re caught in the middle, although some people prefer a tighter fit.
Size guide:
Small - size 7
Medium - size 8
Large - size 9
Extra large - size 10
Care: Hand Wash
Niwaki means garden tree. Not very exciting, but it implies far more than that. Japanese gardens are landscapes, microcosms of nature, and the trees are all shaped to fit into those landscapes. In 1997, Niwaki's founder Jake went to Japan as a wannabe sculptor, to investigate the cultural phenomenon of the cherry blossom season, Hanami. There he discovered the gardens, the trees and later, how fabulous their tools are.
